Autumn Update from Torpenhow

We’re still enjoying the last snatches of warm sunshine and blue skies here on the edge of the Lake District, but the occasional chilly wind and downpour (we are in Cumbria, after all!) are sharp reminders that we’re well into autumn and winter is on its way.

It’s been a great summer for us here at Park House Farm with a whole host of awards bestowed upon our cheeses, not to mention one which recognised the regenerative work we’re undertaking on the farm itself.

However, we’re in a position where we find ourselves catching up a little, both on the farm and in the dairy.

In the coming weeks we have some new cheese making equipment on its way along with a few more lovely cows joining our organic herd.

We have therefore made the decision to pause selling our cheeses online for a short period of time, which will allow us to fully concentrate on these and other exciting developments happening on the farm and with the Torpenhow Cheese Company.

Unfortunately, this means that we will not be accepting any new online orders after 1:00pm on Tuesday 4th October.

Any existing orders and those placed before this time will be packed and shipped on Thursday as normal.

Please be assured that we will have a new website ready and taking your orders in early November.

Gift Vouchers
If you have one of our gift vouchers, please be assured that these are, of course, still valid and can be redeemed once the new website is ready.

Should you be desperate to redeem your voucher for some of our lovely cheese, please email orders@torpenhoworganic.co.uk and we shall do our best to fulfil your order but, ideally, we’d please ask that you wait a little while longer.

On behalf of Jenny, Mark and all the team here at the Torpenhow Cheese Company, thank you for your continued support and we look forward to sharing our exciting developments with you in the weeks ahead.
